With the popularity of golf increasing by leaps and bounds, Town of Hempstead residents and visitors should know that their township is home to many of the finest municipal and private golf courses in the country. These include the town's demanding 9-hole course in Merrick, and the superlative 18-hole Lido Golf Course. Our courses are as challenging as they are picturesque.
This executive-type 9-hole course is excellent for beginners and those who wish to improve their game. It features short but challenging holes. Services on site include pull cart rentals, putting green and chipping area. Tee off time varies; call for information. Open from mid-March to late December, 7 days a week.

The largest complex on Long Island contains three 18-hole courses (White, Red and Blue). On location there are a pro shop, restaurant, cart and club rentals, driving range and putting greens.
