Youngsters Can Play with the Best Lacrosse Program in Town!
This summer, the lacrosse academy will travel throughout the township conducting weekly clinics, one-on-one training and small group lessons. A lacrosse academy session will help youngsters sharpen skills and bolster confidence. Regardless of format, players will raise their talent level by learning to shoot, pass, catch, stick-handle and defend. There is specialized instruction for goalies as well. By “sticking” to fun and fundamentals while “shooting” for a “goal” of improved play through expert instruction, the Town of Hempstead Lacrosse Academy remains in a league of its own.
The Lacrosse Academy is open to TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD RESIDENTS ONLY. You may register online or by mail up to 14 days in advance of the clinic start date. To register by mail, please download an application and mail along with parental consent form and all fees to: Town of Hempstead Department of Parks & Recreation TOHLA, 200 North Franklin Street, Hempstead, NY 11550.
