In case of any terrorist activity or emergency, residents should immediately call 911 or contact their local police department.

Residents can assist local police in fighting terrorism. If you observe any suspicious behavior, contact the Terrorism Hot Line at 1-866-SAFE-NYS.

The READY.GOV website and 1-800-BE-READY line, from The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, provide citizens with informative preparedness suggestions and advice for families.
