Kitchen gardens were vital to early American kitchens, providing the herbs, spices and greens used in most recipes. Adults will learn about the cold weather planting of seeds and crops, as the museum prepares its garden for the year. Bring gloves. Tools are provided. The outdoor class will be held weather permitting.
FEE: $15 per person; $10 for members and seniors. Pre-payment requested.
