“Lifeguarding is a fantastic summer job,” stated Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray. “Not only is it a great, outdoor, well-paying job, but it offers an opportunity to keep all of our residents safe while enjoying the water. I encourage everyone interested to apply.”

The Town of Hempstead currently operates 22 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. Four ocean beachfronts at Point Lookout, Lido, Lido West and Sands are also available to Town of Hempstead residents. Hewlett Point Park is the only Hempstead Town operated bay beach.
