Goosby to Host Informative Breast Cancer Forum at African American Museum on October 31st

Hempstead Town Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby is inviting local women to attend her 13th Annual Breast Cancer Forum on Saturday, October 31st at the African American Museum in Hempstead. The informative seminar will be held from 12-3 p.m.

“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among African American women,” stated Goosby. “But with education and awareness, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.”

The event is being sponsored by The Little Black Book, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Iota Theta Zeta, Interdenominational Ministers Wives & Ministers Widows Association, Affinity Health Plan and Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Attendees will also hear from a number of knowledgeable speakers.
