Rock Out with ‘Dogs of War’ in Support of Local Veterans, Band Featuring Councilman Ambrosino Hosts Benefit Concert at Mulcahy’s of Wantagh on June 14

Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony J. Santino and Councilman Ed Ambrosino invite neighbors to attend a benefit concert performed by the “Dogs of War,” a 10-member classic rock band that features Ambrosino, Nassau County Legislator Vinny Muscarella and other local government officials, at Mulcahy’s of Wantagh on Tuesday, June 14th at 8 p.m. All profits generated from the benefit concert will be donated in support of local veterans groups.   

Band members include Ambrosino (piano/guitar), Muscarella (guitar/vocals) Jonathan Crist (guitar/lead vocals), John Ciotti (drums/vocals), Pat Owens (bass/vocals), Steve Orlando (lead guitar), Mark Ambrosino (drums/vocals), Mike Martino (lead guitar/vocals), Larry Eisner (piano/vocals) and Jen Sweeney Eichel (vocals).

“It’s our duty to serve the people of our communities, but our special task on June 14th is to entertain them so we can help the veterans who have done so much to protect us and our freedoms as Americans,” Ambrosino said. “I invite everyone to come to Mulcahy’s and enjoy a fun evening of Rock ‘n’ Roll with Dogs of War.”

The band performs a variety of classic rock and R&B hits, including favorites from the Beatles, the Marshall Tucker Band and much more.

Admission is $21.39, and the band’s goal is to sell at least 800 tickets. Mulcahy’s of Wantagh is located at 3232 Railroad Avenue in Wantagh. For information on how to purchase tickets, call Mulcahy’s at (516) 783-7500 or go online to Tickets can also be purchased at the event. 

“The ‘Dogs of War,’ was created in honor of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served our nation,” Santino said. “We’re excited for their next gig, and hope it brings smiles to their fans and much-needed support to our local veterans.”
