An exciting new chapter is being written in Uniondale and Hempstead Town Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby is making sure everyone is on the same page. The councilwoman will be holding a Uniondale Community Meeting at the Uniondale Public Library on Tuesday, July 18th at 7PM. With representatives from Hempstead Town departments on hand to answer questions, this beneficial meeting is not one to miss!
“A community is only as strong as the care that goes into it,” said Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony J. Santino. “Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby truly cares for her district and is always connecting with the community to face upcoming developments as a team.”
Extending the invite to all Uniondale residents, the meeting seeks to provide clear and concise updates to the recent and upcoming developments in Uniondale. The meeting will gauge community interests and opinions while determining potential courses of action.
Hempstead Town has embarked upon streetscape beautification along Uniondale Avenue and the township’s parks department has partnered with caring residents to restore the Goehner farm stand at Uniondale Park. The farm stand serves as a community museum and is often frequented by local schools, daycares and families.
“I encourage every Uniondale resident to attend this important meeting,” said Goosby. “Together, we can confer on the best possible route to take towards a brighter future.”
