For the convenience of taxpayers, Hempstead Town offers tax payment email and text message reminder services. Reminders can help you to make your tax payments on time and avoid being assessed a penalty for a late payment. Subscribers will receive a reminder approximately ten days prior to each of the General and School Tax payment due dates, four times each year (on or about February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1). Please note that reminders will be sent whether or not you have already paid your tax bill. Subscribers may also receive periodic notifications regarding other important property tax issues.
